Q: HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?
A: You can request a booking online by filling in our form.  You will need to register on our site by creating ‘an account’ to login.  Registration IS FREE.    OR you can call us directly at 021 852 5050.

Q: IS MY BOOKING GARANTEED?

A: YES.  Once you have received confirmation from us to say that we have an opening, it is reserved for 24 hours.  Once your Deposit is received and we have confirmed receipt by email it is 100% Guaranteed!

Q: DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
A: YES. Once you have received your reservation confirmation,  a 25% Non refundable Deposit is required to Guarantee your Booking.  Balance is due at time of arrival.  We accept ETF or cash.  We do not accept Credit/Debit cards or Cheques. 

Q: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
A:
- Reservation: This is a temporary booking until deposit has been paid, received and confirmed by us.  Only then, can we guarantee your pets place.

- Guaranteed: This is confirmation that we have received your deposit and we have reserved a place for your pet and awaiting your pets arrival.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR BOARDING RATES?
A: That depends on the size of your Pet. i.e. small, medium or Large and of course the length of stay.  The following is our base guideline only.  Discounts are at the sole discretion of the owner.  PLEASE CALL and REQUEST A SPECIFIC QUOTE.

RATES:  From R120 TO R150 per day depending on size and duration.

Check- IN/OUT is at 10.00 am - 11.00 am strictly - Mon - Friday or by special appointment only. (To ensure the least amount of disruption for all pets in our care, we strictly adhere to these times)


Q: WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE?

A:
- We provide everything - beds, bowls, blankets, food and an abundance of Love and Attention.


- Food. We provide high quality dry pellets with a juicy topping of moist tinned meat.  Snacks like Apples + Milky Bone and dry vors occasionally as an extra special treat.

- If you want to bring your pet’s favorite blanket, his bed, toys or something that smells like you and his home, it’s okay.  For some pets, particularly first timers, it helps them to feel more comfortable and settle in quickly.

- We recommend you bring a little of your pets own brand of food to blend with ours, as a sudden complete change can upset some delicate tummies.

- Bring all your pets medication and special diet if they are on one.


Q: WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS AND DAYS?
A: We are here 365 days a year.  We LIVE HERE. The office is closed on public holidays, and weekends.  Check in and check out times are 10.00am Mon -Fri ONLY.


Q: WHY CAN’T WE COLLECT OUR PETS ON THE WEEKEND?
A: Although the Office is closed on weekends, we are still here taking care of our WHOLE BIG family. Weekends are generally used to recharge our batteries by pottering in the garden, baking, go without makeup, keep the slippers on and do what normal happy families do. Every time someone arrives or goes home, for safety purposes, we have to gather in all the pets.  Sunday tranquility and harmony is disrupted and everyone gets excited when owners arrive unannounced.  We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please NOTE:  No after hours or weekend collections are allowed unless prior arrangements have been made.

Q: MY PET IS VERY OLD AND TAKES MEDICATION?

A: We go the extra mile in taking care of Senior and Invalid Pets.  We understand their needs.  A nice quiet, comfy spot in the kitchen is what we learned most senior dogs prefer.  We will provide and ensure all medication/tablets are taken as per your vet instructions.

Q: HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU BOARD AND WHAT BREEDS?
A:
- We limit the number of guests to 20.
- We run a cageless boarding service.  Some breeds simply do not fit in. We stand firm in our decisions and uphold our responsibility for pets in our care with utmost concern for their safety.
- We mainly specialize in small to medium breeds.
- The occasional Gentle Giant is accepted and most welcome, many members of our extended family are gentle giants.

- Pets with aggression and behaviour problems towards other pets and people are not accepted.  Such pets are better suited to commercial kennels with cages and runs.

- We only take sterilized pets and those with updated pet vaccine records.

In a hurry? Want to Keep your Car Clean for the trip?  Don’t like that separation feeling?  Why not Consider using our Pet Taxi Service to pick up and deliver your pets. Additional family pets ride free!  This service is only available in Somerset West, Strand, G.Bay and Stellendbosh areas Mondays to Fridays.
